tha0ie is Australia’s australian-born-vietnamese r&B, pop rap & HIP-HOP singer-songwriter, rapper and entrepreneur born and raised in Melbourne.

Pronounced “tao-we”, She marries r&B, hip-hop beats & BARS with strong melodic hooks and catchy tunes. She revels in writing riddles, forming juxapositions, merging and simplifying syllables to alter language, life experiences to give them new meaning.

With over 15 years’ experience in psychology, marketing, linguistics and creative writing, tha0ie is a linguist and lyricist where all lyrics are original. Her lyrics are hearty, spicy with attitude. With Vietnamese and Cambodian heritage, tha0ie is an Asian-Australian woman who is fluent in English and Vietnamese and has dabbled with Greek, Japanese and Arabic language.

tha0ie aims to create change in the hip-hop industry. Historically, rap music has been known to increase suicide rates, especially among tweens and adolescents. tha0ie aims to entertain and improve people’s wellbeing by focussing on mental strength, resilience and love. She believes her pop rap music can manifest to help people make better choices in life, and that the medical community and the hip-hop world can embrace the possibility of breaking down mental health barriers even further.
